Frequently Asked Questions

In worship services, when do I stand and when do I kneel?
(Worship 101 for Non-Episcopalians)

Upon arrival at our church services, you will receive a bulletin that will direct you to the hymns and readings. Our worship texts are found in the Book of Common Prayer, and most of our music is found in the Hymnal, 1982. When do I stand, sit or kneel? Simply follow the worshippers in front of you.

All baptized Christians are invited to receive the Holy Eucharist in the Episcopal Church. The host is received in the open palm; please assist the chalice bearers by guiding the cup to your lips. Please assist small children who may be receiving Communion, or tell the priest if they should receive a blessing instead.

Please join us for Sunday School; for a listing of the current times and locations of classes, please click here. Class descriptions and their locations are listed on the bulletin's weekly announcement insert. For the latest edition of our bulletin, click here. Locations of classes can be found on the map of our facilities.

Vestry Greeters are available to welcome our visitors and answer any questions. Please look for our parishioners with Vestry nametags.
