Planning for the Future – A three part series on essential things we all need to do to prepare ourselves and our families for the future. One class will focus on the legal aspects of wills, trusts and probate, living wills and health care powers of attorney. A second class will deal with the medical issues surrounding our serious and final illnesses. The final class will deal with the spiritual aspects of death and dying, including the options for our own funeral services. This class will meet in the Multipurpose Room-Lower Level, Heyward Hall.

A Life Worth Living - an Alpha Course based on Paul's Letter to the Philippians - The purpose of this series is to introduce, in a simple and practical way, a key letter in the New Testament. What is intended to be read in conjunction with the bible passages, either by an individual or as a group study, with one person preparing the bible study using the book as a resource. Weekly topics include: New Heart, New Purpose, New Attitude, New Responsibilities, New Friendships, New Confidence, New Ambitions, New Resources and New Generosity. If you wish to attend A Life Worth Living, please RSVP to Nancy Garvin. (Give her the names of all persons registering for Alpha.) For Youth Jesus in your ipod Looking at how faith and Jesus are portrayed in pop music, how the Church uses music to express faith (specifically to youth), and how we can utilize music in our own daily faith. We will also make some music! Instruments will be welcomed. For Kids Children in the Bible Isaac, Ishmael, Jacob, and Esau, Joseph, Miriam, Samuel, David, Elisha, Jesus, John the Baptist, Jairus' daughter. Age groups for the program are 1 st – 5 th grade and 3K, 4K, and 5K (children must be in kindergarten.) Nursery will be provided for infants-3years old. Wednesday Night Dinners
Enjoy wonderful food and great fellowship each Wednesday night this fall. Dinner will be served in the Barr Center beginning 5:30 pm, September 3 - November 19.
Costs Children (0-2) - free Children
(3-10) - $2.00 Help! If you are able to give of your time please come from 3:00 - 5:00 pm any Wednesday for basic food preparation in the kitchen or from 6:30 - 7:30 pm to assist with clean up. Your help is much needed and appreciated.
